Our Story
Hi, I'm Roland Perez, owner of AAA Home Services.
Our story actually begins long before AAA Home Services. In 1977, John James, a local firefighter in Leon Valley, Texas, started a chimney cleaning company built on hard work, honesty, and taking care of customers like family.
My own chimney career started in 1986 when I began working at Aaron's Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning. That's where I learned the chimney and dryer vent industry from the ground up. I spent years learning the trade, working with customers, and gaining hands-on experience with chimney systems throughout South Texas.
In 1999, I had the privilege of purchasing John James's chimney cleaning company. After his passing, we honored his legacy by continuing to serve customers with the same values and commitment he built the company on. Soon after, we renamed the company AAA Home Services.
Years later, another opportunity came along that felt very special to me. We were able to purchase Aaron's Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning, the very company where I first got my start. In many ways, it felt like bringing a piece of family history back home.
Over the years, our company has grown in both size and knowledge. We were among the first companies providing professional chimney and dryer vent services in San Antonio and South Texas. As the industry evolved, so did we. We invested in camera inspection technology, advanced cleaning equipment, industry certifications, specialized repair techniques, and ongoing training. We have remained active in local, state, and national chimney organizations to stay at the forefront of safety and industry standards.
Today, while we have expanded into fireplace installation, chimney rebuilding, masonry restoration, dryer vent services, and plumbing, chimneys remain our passion and specialty.
What makes me most proud is seeing the next generation become become
poised and ready to help attract and retain our next generation of customer. My children, Mallory, Zechariah, Felipe, and Clarissa, are all active in the business today. Watching them learn and grow within the company and their innovated ideas is one of my greatest blessings to be part of and see. They represent the future of AAA Home Services and the second generation of our family committed to serving yours.
Although we've grown over the years, we've never forgotten who we are.
We're still a local, family-owned company with deep roots in South Texas. From San Antonio to Corpus Christi, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, the Hill Country, and surrounding communities, our reputation has been built one customer at a time.
We often joke that we're "a small company with a big name," but that's exactly how we like it. We still believe in treating customers like neighbors, providing honest recommendations, doing quality work, and standing behind what we do.
Thank you for trusting AAA Home Services with your home and your family.
We look forward to serving South Texas for generations to come.
